En.plus GmbH becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the Elevion Group 03.06.2019
The Elevion Group is thus continuing its successful medium-sized growth strategy of recent years and expanding the group. With the technical competence and performance strength of En.plus GmbH, the business area of mechanical building services, in particular the area of ventilation and cooling technology, will be strategically expanded further within the Elevion Group. In addition, the acquisition of En.plus GmbH with its branches in Magdeburg, Berlin, Potsdam, Cologne and Lübeck as well as Frankfurt am Main complements the Elevion Group's business area in North Rhine-Westphalia and also forms a strong axis between Berlin and Cologne. "En.plus GmbH is a very good fit for the Elevion Group not only because of its technical competencies, its performance capabilities and its locations, but above all because of its practiced medium-sized entrepreneurship and its family-like corporate culture," says Oliver Rennig, Managing Director of the Elevion Group.
With the integration of En.plus GmbH into the Elevion Group, the company remains unchanged. The three managing partners Albert Kunze, Stefan Schröder and Hans-Georg Bäumer, of En.plus GmbH, which was founded on August 4, 2009, continue to bear operational responsibility. Albert Kunze explains the decision in favor of the Elevion Group: "With the integration into the Elevion Group, we are pursuing the vision of placing En.plus on an even broader and more secure footing. We are convinced that in the Elevion Group we have found a long-term strategic partner that will enable us to further expand and develop En.plus in the coming years." Stefan Schröder is also convinced and delighted about the integration into the group of companies: "Above all, we can now concentrate even more on our core business, as many things will be easier for us in addition to the financial opportunities and security that the Elevion Group offers us." The range of services offered by En.plus GmbH includes consulting, planning, execution, service and operation of plants and systems for energy, building and environmental technology for building and industrial complexes. "One of our strengths is in the area of large-scale refrigeration systems, which are needed in data centers, for example."
"Another focus of our activities is service tailored to the respective facilities of our customers. This ensures maximum operational reliability and also energy efficiency," says Hans-Georg Bäumer. "We bring this expertise to the Group. The subsidiaries located in the group also result in many advantages for our customers. We can now offer our customers an even more comprehensive range of services throughout Germany, especially in electrical engineering," explains Stefan Schröder. With around 250 employees, including over 140 fitters, En.plus GmbH achieved annual sales of around 40 million euros last year.
The business areas of the Elevion Group are currently divided into the core business fields of electrotechnical and mechanical building technology as well as automation technology. In 2018, the Elevion Group generated sales of around 400 million euros and employs around 2,500 people at more than 40 locations. For the Elevion Group, the integration of En.plus GmbH is not just a continuation of its growth strategy, which has been successful for years. "With the service portfolio of En.plus in mechanical building services, in particular ventilation and refrigeration technology, we are expanding and strengthening this business area within the group and, as a total provider of technical building services, are continuing to develop into a medium-sized market leader in Germany," says Lars Eberlein, Managing Director of the Elevion Group.
